Domestic Violence Protection

(Restraining Order Violation Prevention)
Our core mission at Domestic Violence and Abuse Protection Riverside County (DVAP) is to ensure the safety of victims of domestic violence who have obtained restraining orders against their abusers.

We understand that a restraining order is only as effective as its enforcement. That’s why we have designed a partnership where trained professional protection operators help prevent violent incidents from occurring when a court order is ignored and violated.

DVAP Riverside County provides ongoing access to support and safety planning for victims, taking into account the risk of restraining order violations. We work to ensure that victims’ rights are protected, their safety is prioritized, and that any violations of restraining orders are brought to the authorities. This includes assistance in representing victims in court or helping them navigate the legal process.

This is an essential part of DVAP Riverside County’s mission to provide comprehensive support for victims of domestic violence and promote a culture of respect and non-violence.
